Name age relationship family?
Roger Wharton 43 married with daughter, dog, and cat 

What’s your surf and snow back ground?
Grew up surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding on Cape Cod. Was a competitive snowboarder from 1987-1994 and rode on a team based out of Loon mtn and we rode for GNU, Rossi, and Sims. 

Who were your influences local and other?
Todd Richards, Dave Lemieux, Rick Weeks, Pat Walsh to name a few

Favorite surf spot?
Bells

Favorite snow spot?
Mt Washington

Back ground in other sports?
Cycling. Mountain, Road, and commuting. Did quite a bit of mountain bike racing at the cat 1/expert level. Still throw a number plate on the mountain bike from time to time.

Retail experience?
1st job growing up was at a surf/skate shop on the cape. Ski shops, snowboard shops, bike shops, and 11 years at Eastern Mountain sports. Close to 25 years of retail experience.

Travel? Surf and snow
Surf: all over New England and islands off of southern New England, Florida, Oregon, Costa Rica both coasts. Snow: all over New England, eastern and western Canada, Western U.S.

Couple words that you could give to the youth from what you learned in your 43 years?
Find a healthy outdoor activity(s), something that you’re passionate about, and shape your life around that passion. Get outside and play every day.
